A quest for beautiful fabrics

On our quest to discover the most innovative and beautiful fabrics in the world, we have partnered with luxury mills in Australia and Italy with over four centuries of combined expertise.

Based in Melbourne and a distinguished global leader in luxury knit fabrics, our knit mill creates our buttery soft Ponte di Roma with Tencel© fibres sourced from Austria. Tencel© is renowned for softness, comfort, breathability, crease and moisture resistance. Our Milano knit is made from Forest Stewardship Certified (FSC) viscose, cool to touch with a luxurious finish.

We look for certifications in our fabric such as Tencel© made only by Lenzing, because we know Lenzing is the only regulated manufacturer that holistically produces its Tencel in a way that is kind to us and the environment. For some fabrics, such as viscose, we look for a combination of factors to reduce our overall environmental footprint. We balance the benefits of this fabric from a functionality perspective with the need to purchase viscose only from Australian mills, and look for Forest Stewardship Certification.

From Italy, our technical fabrics enable our signature balance of elegance and effortlessness based on many years of innovation and craftsmanship from three Italian mills. Our regenerated fabrics, including our stretch crepe and our technical silk, are designed for movement and ease. We choose these fabrics with Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification as it ensures that our selections meet a high standard of responsibility across the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labelling.

From a responsible consumption perspective, no fabric is truly perfect. Each selection exists on a spectrum of kind to the environment, functional, and beautiful. We see our core role as being able to find the balance of these values. With the ultimate end goal of creating long lasting products that solve a problem for our #you-femmes.
